Advanced Indian Head Massage

A tool-kit of additional skills

This is a Continuing Professional Development course. It is anticipated this 2-day course will qualify for 10 CPD points with most professional bodies.

This unique 2-day course incorporates carefully selected techniques from Tuina (Traditional Chinese Massage).

Course Description

The course offers a new range of specialised massage techniques informed by tutor Mariette Lobo’s expertise and experience as a Tuina (Traditional Chinese Massage) master practitioner. They are used on the shoulders, arms, hands, neck and scalp.

This new “tool-kit” will provide IHM therapists with additional skills that can be adapted and used in different ways to suit the individual needs of the client.

This is a very practical course and both days are very hands on so be prepared to give and receive several, well-paced, treatments. The intention is not to offer a set routine, but to share ideas, experiences and suggestions. Practitioners will, therefore, have greater choice when considering the most suitable Indian head massage treatment for clients.

The course also acts as a refresher for therapists wishing to renew their confidence in using Indian Head Massage.

You will be awarded a certificate of attendance as evidence of CPD for your portfolio.
