This is a Continuing Professional Development course. It is anticipated this 1-day course will qualify for 5 CPD points with most professional bodies.
The next course will run on Saturday 4 July 2020, from 9.30am to 4pm in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.
The course fee is £125.00.
There will be two twenty minute breaks (refreshment provided) and a forty five minute lunch break (refreshment not provided).
This interactive course will provide an introduction to the basics of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). It is NOT a practitioner-certificated course.
Annette Lobo, MSc, BSc, RGN, RM Complementary Therapist (and previously Consultant Midwife for NHS Fife).
Annette began her career by gaining a nursing degree at Edinburgh University. She has held various senior roles in the maternity care environment prior to her last role as Consultant Midwife from which she retired in the summer of 2017.
Her knowledge, skills and expertise has led to invitations to sit on or chair various local policy committees and she has also been invited to participate in the work of national committees.
In 2003, she chaired a group to develop a Best Practice Statement on Maternal History Taking which she presented at the 2005 International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) Congress in Brisbane. Annette is a midwife member of the UK wide Mothers and Babies: Reducing Risk through Audits and Confidential Enquiries (MBRRACE).
She also acts as an expert witness with registration on the Law Society of Scotland Register of Expert Witnesses. She has written for publication and presented at various forums on maternity matters.
