Non-Practitioner Awards

Body in Balance offers an enjoyable introduction to a diverse range of therapies which may be later developed at practitioner level. These short therapy awareness courses are an excellent introduction to the field of complementary therapies.

Indian Head Massage Reflexology
Hand Massage Foot Massage
Body Massage Reiki Level 1

The courses are designed for people who simply wish to treat family and friends safely but do not wish to become professional practitioners. As such these courses are also very suitable for carers and support workers who wish to add a therapy skill to the support they provide to relatives and clients.

Mariette Lobo is on the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council Accredited Register

The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) is the UK voluntary regulator for complementary therapists.

CNHC was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of complementary therapists.

CNHC's register has been approved as an Accredited Voluntary Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

Mariette Lobo is registered with the British Reflexology Association

The Bayly School of Reflexology is the official teaching body of The British Reflexology Association and was the first Reflexology training school to be established in Great Britain.

The Bayly Method of treatment is unique to The Bayly School in that the thumb is not flexed and extended in a caterpillar-like movement so the method is less stressful on the thumb (and finger) joints and the less rapid movement is considered to be more relaxing to the patient.
